Go To Work

Go to work

Remember that only one skin gets the sun

And walk away when the dang thing is done

Move toward the shade into the tent

When you want to fight, its time to relent

And go to work

Think of when you were treated like a jerk

Make it ooze into a sweat

Have the guts to make a bet

Put the time and be adept

And go to work

Oooh – What you finish isn’t always what you wrote

And the rose parade left behind your float

You can get stuck by the thorns

And Listen to the scorns

Or go to work,

Oooh – What you finish isn’t always what you dreamt

Doesn’t mean you have to beg or repent

And stand on what you believe

Choose to give and not receive

And go to work
